The EVO Group has always had strong ties with the community, no matter the location we work in. At the core of our business is people, and the philosophy that communication and face-to-face conversation are key to progression in any walk of life. Of course it’s important as a business to grow and create success for ourselves, but there is more to life than business, and at no time is this closer to our hearts than at the holiday season, when everyone takes some time to reflect on the year past, and how it has affected them.
That’s why, at this time of the year, we at The EVO Group like to take some special time to get involved and give something back to the community that supports our business all year round. This year we decided to help out a holiday food drive, helping the First Baptist Church in Columbus feed the hungry over the holidays.
The First Baptist Church has been a part of the community in Columbus for over 190 years, and has a rich history, with roughly 34 senior pastors officiating over the church. The current pastor who we worked with on the food drive is the Reverend Dr. Paul Large, who first officiated over the congregation in October 1998. The church plays a large part in the community, and The EVO Group donated over a hundred cans of food to the food drive.
